How to create a Kodi (XBMC) shortcut on your Fire TV home screen

  • Make sure your Fire Tv connect to internet and has power while install.
Obtain IP Address on FireTV
  • Turn on fire tv and go to Setting - System - About - Network - Get Ip Address ( please write down or remember this )

What you need
  1. You need install Classic Tv on your Fire TV ( If you live in Europe : Install ikono Tv app)
  2. Download LLama
  3. Open your terminal (Mac) or command prompt (Windows)
  4. Type :
adb kill-server
adb start-server
adb connect ipaddress
  • Then type :
adb install llama-apk-file-name

  • The installation is done when the window returns success
  • Settings > Applications > Manage All Installed Applications and launch Llama
  • Go to Events tab and click the + button

  • Click Add Condition and select Active application

  • Click Choose an app, select Classic TV, and hit OK

  • Click Add Action and select Run Application

  • Select Kodi (XBMC)

The event will now be created. You can exit Llama. Now every time you launch Classic TV, XBMC will run instead.
